The Western Great Lakes Hummingbird Project continues to seek busy Ruby-throated Hummingbird sites in Wisconsin to conduct hummingbird banding during the months of June, July, August and September.
If you, someone you know or a business you know of (e.g. resorts) are hosting significant numbers of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, I am interested in speaking with you about enrolling your site in my banding research. While sites with 50+ hummingbirds are ideal, I will consider sites with fewer birds depending on location (20+). Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to participate in and contribute to the understanding of our smallest bird species in Wisconsin!
Please contact Cynthia Bridge at wi.hummingbirds@gmail.com to learn more about enrolling your Ruby-throated Hummingbird feeding station in the Western Great Lakes Hummingbird Project banding research. I look forward to hearing from you!
